TURKEY TRADE CENTER / ALEPPO

Our center was established in 2006 in the city of Aleppo. At that time, economic relations were rapidly developing following the Free Trade Agreements that came into effect between Turkey and some Middle Eastern countries.

For these relations to achieve their rightful place in the industrial and commercial sectors, not only the governments but also individual efforts and sacrifices were necessary. To facilitate this, we established the Permanent Exhibition and Marketing Center. In the advanced stages, we continued our activities under the name Turkey Trade Center, actively engaging in trade, particularly addressing the needs of state factories and institutions. In this context, we began participating in state tenders, primarily with state-owned enterprises in the cement, sugar, milling, chemical sectors, as well as mining and ports.

In these sectors, we quickly surpassed all dominant foreign competitors, establishing the dominance of Turkish goods in the market.

Showing rapid success, TTM has won a total of 261 state tenders since its establishment, with 64 tenders in 2006, 69 in 2007, 61 in 2008, and 67 in 2009. Since 2006, TTM has represented approximately 28 Turkish companies in the Middle East, achieving many firsts and introducing Middle Eastern firms, long dependent on European producers, to Turkish products.
